Jyoti Parboiled Rice is sourced from a single farm in Kerala. It is slender, versatile and delicious. Easy to cook (relative to other red rices) and soft. Grown organically, semi-polished in small mills & parboiled in farm using traditional methods. A perfect beginner red rice that is easy to cook & digest.
For cooking in a vessel use 1:4 water. For cooking in a pressure cooker 1:3.5 water and 4-5 whistles based on how well cooked you need your rice. Cook inside a separate vessel to avoid starch coming out during the whistles.
